Jim Flock, Jr, CCIM
President & Qualifying Broker
Jim Flock, Jr. is an FAA-licensed pilot and aircraft owner based in Atlanta, where he serves as the President and Qualifying Broker of Flock Realty Group.
Following six years of service in the United States Marine Corps, he earned an MBA in Real Estate from Georgia State University. Jim then embarked on a successful 20+ year career managing and leasing multi-million dollar portfolios of Class A office, industrial, and retail properties, accumulating extensive experience in syndicating, acquiring, and disposing of similar assets.
Jim’s love for aviation ignited in 2012 when he obtained his pilot’s certificate, and by 2016, he had purchased his first aircraft, making aviation a key part of his life. This passion led to the establishment of Flock Realty Group in 2021, where he aimed to address the ongoing supply and demand challenges in the industry. In the same year, he partnered with Aviation Property Network (APN), becoming the exclusive Affiliate for Georgia, North and South Carolina, and later taking on the role of APN’s Regional Affiliate Manager for the eastern United States.
Deeply involved in various aviation organizations, Jim is a member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA), American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Georgia Airports Association (GAA), Association of Georgia General Aviation Airports (AGGAA), South Carolina Aviation Association (SCAA), Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA), and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). He currently serves as the Director of Membership on the GBAA Board of Directors, actively promoting and advocating for the interests of business aviation across Georgia.
Jim’s dedication to aviation goes beyond his real estate endeavors. You may spot him flying his Tecnam to various airports throughout the Southeast, whether for business or leisure. He also actively participates in local and national aviation events, keeping a close connection to the aviation real estate market.
Jim’s unique perspective as an aviator and aircraft owner, combined with his extensive real estate experience, enables him to provide exceptional service in the aviation real estate market, making Flock Realty Group a one-stop shop for all aviation real estate needs.
Holly Overdyke
Vice President
Holly Overdyke is an accomplished business development and consulting professional, having spent nearly 20 years designing and implementing corporate benefits, technology, and property insurance strategies. As the Founder and President of a successful brokerage and consulting firm, her highly-specialized client projects spanned across the US in a multitude of industry verticals. After a fulfilling career in insurance, during which time she invested in real estate, Holly decided to pivot on her professional path and expand her real estate interests to specialize in aviation.
In her personal life, she is a dedicated wife and mother of two children, for whom she is passionate about chasing their athletic aspirations. In her family’s time off the field/court, you will find them wakeboarding and wake surfing at “the lake” or skiing down any mountain that offers quality snow.
Holly is in the infancy phase of pilot training and hopes to join her husband, a private pilot, more confidently in the skies.
Jonathan Rupp
Vice President
An Airline Transport Pilot rated corporate and charter pilot with type ratings in Hawkers, Challengers, CitationJets, Citation X, and LearJets, he also has extensive experience in King Airs, Pilatus, and Cirrus. Jonathan served as Fleet Chief Pilot at a dynamic charter operator, leading a team of pilots and spearheading reactivating two aircraft out of long-term storage into revenue service. His personal and professional travels have brought him to over a dozen countries and all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
Prior to becoming a professional pilot, Jonathan spent time in airport operations at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor. He also worked line service at FBOs on General Aviation airports in Minneapolis, MN and San Diego, CA.
Jonathan is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Daytona Beach, FL campus with a degree in Aeronautical Science and minors in Aviation Weather and Airport Management. While at ERAU, he was President, Safety Officer, Chief Pilot, and a competitor on the Eagles Flight Team, was a Student Government representative, and led new student orientations. His unique and multifaceted background combines technical expertise with business insight to bring client focused service to aviation real estate.
In his spare time, Jonathan loves being a dad to his two young daughters, is an avid outdoor enthusiast enjoying golf, paddling, and hiking (with mountaineering aspirations), and is often found at the grill preparing a feast for family and friends.
